ROGER PARTINGTON
Dealer Principal
Commencing his career as a sales cadet with Transpec in 1972 selling BPW axles, suspensions and other transport components, Roger quickly established himself within the transport industry as their product specialist.
In 1976 Roger was appointed as the Transpec Victorian Thermo King sales manager and in 1985 Transpec appointed him as the Australia Thermo King Sales Manager, looking after all national accounts.
In 2003 Roger was approached by Thermo King head office in the USA to become the Queensland sole Thermo King dealer and as a result QTK was formed.
As the CEO of QTK group, Roger has been responsible for the design and development of the existing Spectra site, much now is one of the premier service facilities in the transport industry.
Roger now focuses on the contractual agreements, corporate policies and overall financial management structure of the QTK Group.
WAYNE TAYLOR
Dealer Principal
Wayne joined QTK Group at its inception in 2003 as Sales and Marketing Director with the responsibility to rejuvenate the Thermo King business for Queensland and Northern Territory.
In 1997, Wayne won Thermo King ‘International Sales Manager of the year’ and utilises his professionalism, customer relations and business acumen to develop the team at QTK.
Today Wayne’s focus as Director is on new technologies, major accounts, marketing and staff development, ensuring QTK Group remains a market leader in all its business sectors.
GRANT TURNER
General Manager
Grant Turner started his Transport Refrigeration apprenticeship at Refrigerated Roadways. His career with Thermo King began in 2000 at Spectra, the former QLD dealer. In 2003 when QTK Group acquired Spectra, Grant joined the team and progressively worked his way up through the business. In 2006 he became the Service Supervisor and unanimously was appointed Service Manager in 2011. In 2007 Grant was also awarded the Youth Award by NATRoads.
In 2015, the Directors appointed Grant as General Manager as a result of his comprehensive operational and industry knowledge, exceptional customer relations, systematic methodology and leadership attributes.
Since his appointment, Grant has guided QTK Group through national Bus HVAC expansions and really focused to train and develop staff, ensuring customer expectations and experiences are always satisfied.
